Dra. Mª Carmen Llasat

She holds a PhD in Physical Sciences from the UB and is an expert in meteorological risks and climate change. She leads the Group for the Analysis of Adverse Meteorological Situations (GAMA) and is part of the Executive Committee of the HUB on Global Sustainability of the UB. She actively participates in scientific dissemination, is a member of important scientific committees and has chaired the Natural Hazards Section of the European Geophysical Society. With more than 200 publications on topics such as hydrometeorology, climate change and its social impacts, she has contributed to IPCC and MedECC reports, especially on the Mediterranean region, also playing a key role in university education and directing doctoral theses.

Dra. Laura Armengot

She is a biologist and a doctor in agroecology. Her main expertise is in the field of sustainable agricultural practices, including organic farming and agroforestry systems. With research stays in Germany and especially in Switzerland (at the Research Institute for Ecological Agriculture, FiBL) she has worked both in Mediterranean, temperate and tropical regions developing and evaluating innovative management strategies to minimize the environmental impact of agriculture

Dra. Elena Baraza

Dedicated to research in ecology since 2000, she is currently a professor of Ecology at the University of the Balearic Islands and a researcher at the Institute of Agro-environmental Research and Water Economy, one of the lines of research being viticulture from the perspective of improving efficiency in the use of water and finding management systems that allow the development of more sustainable viticulture adapted to climate change. She is also a member of the Interdisciplinary Laboratory on Climate Change and the Committee of Experts for the Energy Transition and Climate Change of the Balearic Islands.

Julián Palacios

An agricultural engineer and winegrower from San Martín de Unx (Navarra), he represents a new generation of professionals who are in love with vines and who promote respectful viticulture, the conservation of ancestral pruning techniques and the appreciation of the work of winegrowers. He founded Viticultura Viva to help wineries improve the balance of their vineyards and extend the life of the vines. He organises the viticulture conferences ‘How to care for vineyards so that they live for 100 years’, is co-creator of the podcast ‘La Filoxera’ and producer of the documentary "Las Podas Olvidadas".

Ángel Perurena

Gardener by profession, trained in holistic management, permaculture, regenerative and syntropic. In constant search for food production in harmony with nature. He is bringing the concepts of regenerative agroforestry to gardening. He has trained and worked with agroforesters such as Jaime Otero Paramo (Galicia), Ana Sosa (Madrid), Diogo Santos (Portugal), Sergio Olaya (Brazil). Trainer in Syntropic Agriculture with Josep Ramón Sainz de la Maza, advisor in agroforestry.

Sergi Caballero

He is a farmer, rancher and consultant in regenerative agriculture with more than 15 years of experience. He has a diploma in permaculture and specializes in the design of productive and diverse agricultural systems. In 2013 he co-founded the Mas Les Vinyes Cooperative, where they produce lamb, fruit and vegetables. He teaches courses on permaculture, food sovereignty and regenerative agroforestry. Since 2013, he has been involved in Iberian Permaculture and since 2020 in the BiorNE (the Northeast Bioregion of Iberian Permaculture).

Francesc Font

Co-founder of Agroassessor Technical Consultants and author of several books and trainer in regenerative viticulture, he is a farmer and agricultural technical engineer, trained in permaculture and farm design, holistic management, Keyline design, soil regeneration, Natural Korean Farming and knowledgeable, thanks to many years of experience, of the entire technological package proposed by the food industry. He manages and works at his family farm Can Font, in Empordà, and is technical director of Son Felip i Algaiarens, in Menorca.

Eloi Montcada

Agricultural engineer, technical engineer in horticulture and gardening, he has a postgraduate degree in environmental management of companies and in European agriculture and the CAP. He has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of sustainability and innovation, during which he has directed, coordinated and participated in various R&D projects. He has collaborated with various organisations such as the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and AENOR.

Mireia Torres

A chemist and oenologist by training, she has been dedicated to the world of wine and research for 25 years. She heads the Innovation and Knowledge area of ​​Familia Torres, the Jean Leon winery and the Catalan wine cluster INNOVI. In 2021, together with her brother Miquel and other winemakers, she promoted the creation of the Regenerative Viticulture Association in 2021, and is leading the gradual transformation of her own vineyards towards a regenerative model.
